What do I need to make this summer tortellini salad?
- cheesy tortellini pasta
- Italian dressing and marinade
- Italian seasoning
- cherry tomatoes
- pepperoni slices
- 12 oz bag of cheesy tortellini pasta
- ½ cup italian dressing and marinade
- 1 tbsp italian seasoning
- ½ lb cherry tomatoes
- 8oz pepperoncini, sliced
- 6oz can olives
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- 3oz pepperoni slices, sliced in half
In a large pot, boil 2-3 quarts of water with a little bit of salt.
Add tortellini, boil for 10 minutes. Drain, and rinse well with cold water. Pour into a large bowl.
Cut tomatoes and pepperoni in half.
Slice cucumber, then cut each slice in half.
Slice pepperoncinis, and remove any seeds.
In a small bowl, combine italian dressing and italian seasoning. Stir well, and pour over tortellini. Stir until combined.
Add tomatoes, pepperoncini, olives, cucumber and pepperoni to bowl full of tortellini.
Give it a quick stir to combine everything, cover, and chill for at least one hour before serving.
