With all of the news surrounding the Coronavirus, and people literally emptying shelves of things like toilet paper, disinfecting wipes and cleaners, I thought this would be a great time to share my diy disinfecting spray cleaner recipe. If you are unable to find the cleaners you need on your store shelves, this one works great at killing germs on the surfaces in your home.
Keeping your home clean is one of the first steps that you can take to help protect your family against illness. The surfaces in your home like counter tops, door handles and such are magnets for germs, and those germs won’t just go away on their own. You need to wipe away, the dirt and germs with a disinfecting cleaner, like this one.
Shay shared a few diy cleaner recipes some time ago. Try this one for DIY All Purpose Cleaner. I think you will also like this DIY Non-toxix Bathroom Cleaner and diy ammonia free class cleaner.
Diy disinfecting spray cleaner recipe
This is a simple recipe, and you will only need a few things to make your own diy disinfecting spray cleaner to use in your home. I highly recommend labeling your bottle too, so that you know what it is. A smart idea is to print or write the recipe right on the label too, so that it is readily available the next time that you need to make a new batch of homemade cleaner.
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 15 drops lemon essential oil
- Spray bottle
You can purchase a brand new spray bottle to hold your homemade cleaners in, or you can just reuse those bottles that are sitting under your sink right now. It’s a great way to recycle, and reduce your carbon footprint on our planet Earth.
