This Easy Sangria Slush is the perfect cool-down slushy for adults. The amazing thing about this boozy slushy is that it only needs two ingredients, frozen berries, and Pinot Grigio white wine. This flavorful slushy sangria can be made with any berries you desire and enjoyed as a party drink or as a nightcap.
Can u freeze sangria?
Yes, you can freeze sangria. Sangria happens to be one of the few alcoholic beverages that freeze well. For my Easy Sangria Slush, you’ll need to blend the wine and berries together until combined and then freeze for 1-2 hours before serving your boozy slushy to guests. Check out this Ninja blender review, as that’s what I used to make this slushy sangria cocktail.
Once your Easy Sangria Slush mix has frozen, you’ll break up the pieces and place them in your favorite sangria glass to enjoy. I happen to love frozen sangria as it helps cool me down quickly when the weather gets uncontrollably hot outside.
What type of wine is good for sangria?
There are many preferences as to what wine is good for sangria. For a red sangria, you may opt to go with Pinot Noir, but for this sangria, I’m using Pinot Grigio white wine with frozen berries. You may swap the wine out for your preferred red or white wine for sangria.
Can you mix wines to make Easy Sangria Slush?
If you have some wine left over from a special event, you may mix wines to make sangria. This is one of the many reasons I love sangria recipes, you can use a variety of wines to make this Easy Sangria Slush. You may even opt to use a cheaper wine in the $10 or less section to make this boozy slushy for adults.
I wouldn’t mix a white and red wine together when making sangria, but if you have a particular wine leftover in the home and want to give it a try, then I say go ahead! This drink may be customized to your taste preference with a different type of wine or different berries so that you can enjoy this Easy Sangria Slush as much as I do.
