How to make chocolate shamrock pretzels
Making these chocolate covered pretzel shamrock treats is super easy, and you will need just a few ingredients to make them yourself. This is one of those holiday treats that is fun to get the kids involved in too!
Ingredients: Makes 12 pretzel shamrocks
- 36 mini pretzels
- 6 ounces milk chocolate, melted
- Green candy melts
or green sprinkles
- Green licorice
, cut into 1″ strips
Step 1. Melt your chocolate in the microwave, or using the double boiler method.
Step 2. Dip your pretzels into the melted milk chocolate.
Step 3. Arrange three milk chocolate covered pretzels into a shamrock shape on waxed paper.
Step 4. Spread a small amount of melted milk chocolate to the top of a piece of licorice.
Step 5. Add the licorice to the bottom of the pretzels, making sure it touches the pretzel.
Step 6. Add sprinkles immediately. Allow to harden in the freezer for ten to fifteen minutes.
Step 7. Remove from freezer and drizzle with melted green candy melts, if using.
