Best friends since primary school, Bryan and Darcy both shared similar interests in business. Hence, after creating our very own laptop sleeve out of a curtain and sparking the curiosity of friends and classmates, it wasn’t too long before Darcy brought up the idea of offering out custom laptop sleeves to more people. Of course, it didn’t take much persuasion to get Bryan interested. A couple of burgers and lots of arguing later, the initial concept of Snupped was laid out, and Bryan created the first Snupped website.Both Bryan and Darcy are like our Snupped products, ‘Made In Singapore’. Both enjoy a great passion for travelling, music and entrepreneurship. Here’s a little more about us individually:
I never take my tablet outside the house. I’m so scared I’m going to drop it, spill something on it, or forget it. I have a long track record of leaving wallets, sunglasses, my kid’s favorite sippy cup in the most random places. If I left our brand new, coolest high tech item we’ve ever owned at the local coffee shop, or let the kid drop it from a shopping cart, I’m pretty sure my husband would use that as grounds for divorce. All kidding aside, it’s really important to keep your tablets and laptops safe and secure while toting them around town.
I’ve looked around for cases online, but, nothing has ever really leapt out to me that’s made me want to hit the buy now button until I was introduced to Snupped. I’m all about customizable, one of a kind items and why shouldn’t my tablet be dressed stylishly?
This is my Space Glove, my personally customized tablet sleeve, that fits my Microsoft Surface like, well, a glove. Specially designed for tablets, readers, and iPad’s, the Space Glove is designed vertically, so you slip your device inside, where it’s nice and secure, but is also easy to retrieve.
The inside is a soft cotton, so you don’t have to worry about scratching the devices delicate screen and the outside has a nice squish to it, made from Tarpaulin Vinyl, heavy-duty Nitrile Rubber padding. So, it’s light enough to carry around, but protects your device from every day ware and tare.
To make a Space Glove or Space Suit for larger items, you first choose what type of item you have so that the dimensions will be correct. Next, you can choose to upload a design for the front of your sleeve, like I did. Any picture, quote, design you want. I chose the Portrait of Marthe Bibesco (1911). To me it’s timeless, beautiful, but doesn’t stand out too much. You could choose a picture of your family as well. Feeling uninspired? Snupped has pages of amazing designs you can choose from instead. I was really tempted to use on of these four as my image:

There are pages of different designs, color blocks, and polka dots for you to choose from! And for a few more dollars, you can have a different images on the front and back. You can also customize the inside as well, I opted for the ever girly Pink Polka Dots, but you have 15 different color schemes to choose from!
Snupped even has mini-cases for cell phones, they’re not customizable like the larger cases, but they come in great designs as well! I’m hoping to grab the Girls print, which just says “Blah, Blah, Blah…” all over it, as I’m a big phone dropper. I broke the back to my iPhone a few months ago and until we could upgrade, my cracked case was held together with stickers. So not the statement I was looking for!
If you’re in the market for a customizable sleeve or one featuring a great design from many talented artists, then I highly suggest giving Snupped a try. My Surface Tablet is still in one piece and stylish too.
