Once you have all of the supplies to make your own, it is definitely more cost effective to make them yourself. Plus you get to customize the colors and scents, so you can make them exactly how you like them!
How long do bath bombs last?
As a rule of thumb, basic bath bombs should be used within one year of making them. The addition of essential and fragrance oils, dried flower petals, spices etc. may shorten this time, and they also may start to lose their fizz after 6 months. That’s why my recipes below are for smaller batches.

How many drops of essential oil do you put in a bath bomb?
Honestly, that answer will depend on how fragrant you want the bath bombs to be. Some people use the essential oils for the benefits, rather than the scent. I typically use anywhere from 15-30 drops, depending on the recipe.
How many times can you use a bath bomb?
Bath bombs are made for one time use. However, you could break it in half to get two uses out of it, if you want to make them stretch.
What essential oils to use in bath bombs?
Some of my favorite essential oils to use are lavender, sweet orange, eucalyptus, and lemongrass. However, there are so many fragrances as well as fragrance combinations that are great to use! There are some great essential oil combinations out there!
