What are the benefits of peppermint and green tea BATH BOMBS?
Peppermint essential oil is known to have a cooling effect. It also has antiseptic and antibacterial properties which are good for the skin. On the other hand, green tea like peppermint has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. So if you have sensitive skin or minor skin issues, this bath bomb might help calm and refresh your skin.

The key to having a firm and intact bath bomb is with the amount of liquid (oils) you’re adding to your mixture. If it’s crumbly, your mixture might be too dry. However, if it’s cracking after it has been in the mold, it might be because you’re mixture is too wet which expands as it sits on the mold. So be mindful of your mixture.
HOW DO I STORE BATH BOMBS?
These bath bombs are best stored in a cool, dry place at room temperature. If you live in a humid area, it is best to wrap them in a plastic bag before storing them in a container. You can also place some silica gel together with your bath bombs so any excess moisture will be absorbed by the silica gel. If stored correctly, your fizzy should last a good few months.

Peppermint and Green Tea Bath Bombs
Materials
- 2 oz Epsom salt
- 4 oz baking soda
- 2 oz corn starch
- 2 oz citric acid
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tbsp water
- 1 packet Green Tea
- 20 drops Peppermint essential oil

- Large bowl
- Whisk
- Small jar with lid

Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients first (Epsom salt, baking soda, cornstarch and citric acid), using the whisk. Mix well to ensure there are no clumps.
- Add the Green Tea and mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients (olive oil, water and essential oil)) into jar, secure the lid and shake well.
- Very slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture, about a few drops at a time, while whisking. If you’re not pouring slowly enough, the mixture will start to fizz and you don’t want that to happen.
- Once all of the liquid has been poured into the dry mixture, mix very well until the color is consistent.
- Immediately fill the molds with the mixture, firmly stuffing each side full.
- Secure both parts of the mold together and let set. I always give it about a day, just to be on the safe side.
- Carefully release bath bombs from molds and put into an airtight container, or individual cello bags.
