How do you make a Fourth of July wreath?
There are many variations of a Fourth of July Wreath to make during this holiday season. I personally love the old fashion burlap design of this Easy DIY Americana Wreath. It’s easy to use the red, white, and blue polka dot burlap ribbon for this Fourth of July wreath. Simply wrap the burlap around the foam wreath using hot glue to keep the burlap in place until you have covered the entire foam wreath with the red, white, and blue polka dot burlap. Your guests will never know that you made this Americana wreath from scratch because the presentation looks as if you purchased a festive wreath from a local household decor shop.
How do you make a cheap wreath?
The best way to make a cheap wreath for the holidays is to price shop for craft supplies. You’ll find my list of supplies below and perhaps be able to find some of the supplies such as the foam wreath at your local dollar store, and you can always find flowers there, along with burlap or ribbon occasionally. You may want to check your local thrift shop to see what supplies they have too. My Easy DIY Americana Wreath is meant to be a cheap wreath that doesn’t look cheap so that anyone can use this Fourth of July wreath in their home or on their front door to get festive for the holiday without spending a fortune.

Supplies:
You can pick up all of the supplies for this Easy DIY Americana Wreath at Walmanrt.
- 10†foam wreath form
- 9’ of 2.5†ribbon – polka dot burlap/jute
- 1 – blue daisy flower, removed from stem
- 2 – red berry floral, removed from stem
- Hot glue gun with glue
- Scissors
Directions:
Step 1. Apply a 2†strip of hot glue to the wreath form, and attach one end of the ribbon, holding it down to secure. I used my scissors to hold it down, so that I did not burn my fingers.
Step 2. Once dry, apply a 2†strip of hot glue on top of 1†of the ribbon and 1†of the wreath form, and wrap the ribbon around and on top, overlapping the first strip of ribbon slightly. Hold the ribbon down to secure until the glue dries.
Step 3. Continue to wrap the ribbon around the wreath, slightly overlapping as you go.
Step 4. Once you get to the end of the wreath, apply hot glue to hold the end of the ribbon in place, making sure that it ends in the back so that you don’t see it.
Step 5. Flip the wreath to the front, and apply hot glue to the daisy flower and adhere to the front area right where you ended the ribbon. Hold flower in place until glue dries.
Step 6. Repeat step 5 with the berry floral, adhering the to each side of the daisy, placing the step under the daisy.
