Protein is very important to your diet, and not only helps to build muscle, but also helps to make enzymes and hormones. Not everyone gets enough protein in their typical diet though, so protein supplements are a great option, and can help to tone muscle, and also help with weight loss. Today, I’ve partnered with Naked Nutrition to share a delicious berry vanilla protein smoothie recipe that happens to be one of my favorites!
This recipe uses Less Naked Vanilla Whey, a non-denatured whey using grass fed cows’ milk that is loaded with clean protein, as well as essential amino acids and glutathione. Less Naked Whey has only three ingredients; grass fed whey protein, vanilla, and organic coconut sugar, and contains no artificial sweeteners or colors. It’s also non-GMO; soy free, and gluten free. Unlike other brands, there is no acid or bleach used in the processing of Less Naked Vanilla Whey.
Less Naked Vanilla Whey tastes great on its own mixed into water or your favorite beverage. I like to add mine to smoothies, like this berry vanilla protein smoothie. Using it in smoothies helps me with my weight loss journey because I get the protein that I need for a healthy diet, and mixed berries, all in one glass. I drink one of these in the morning for breakfast. Stay tuned because I will be sharing other easy smoothie recipes in the coming weeks.
