Monthly subscription boxes can be exciting and introduce you to products you might not have tried otherwise. We love subscription boxes here in my house and right now we especially love The Nomadik box. The Nomadik is a a premier subscription box for adventure and outdoor enthusiasts. Check out my previous review of my last box and read on to take a peak into this box to see what The Nomadik is all about!

Each month has a unique theme with products and a challenge that align with the theme. For May it is all about camping. I love camping because it is for all skill levels and ages. I go camping with my family several times a year and I also camp with my Girl Scout troops several times a year too. There is something exciting about camping out in the woods!
Each box includes up to 6 innovative gear items, valued around $50.00 (sometimes a little under and sometimes a little over that) and your box costs you $32.95. That is the monthly price, if you purchase a 6 or 12 month set it will costs you even less per month. That means not only are you getting a value but you are gonna try out products that you might not have otherwise. Sometimes the best way to discover something new is to try it out. Even if you aren?t sure exactly what the item you receive is used for Nomadik includes a handy print out explaining each item. They also include some tips and brand discount codes.
My favorite item in this box is the Colter Co. Forager Bandana with Insect Shield. It does more than just look like a cool bandana as it contains an insect shield treatment that repels mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, chiggers, and no-see-ums. The design on this one includes tips on identifying and preparing seven common edible plants. American made and since we often wear bandanas anyway this one gives us a bit of extra protection. The bugs we worry about while camping in Florida are ticks and mosquitoes. I need to get one for each member in my family as they are safe for all ages and even for me while I am nursing!
My husband really likes the UCO Gear Hundred Headlamp. When camping we always have a headlamp for each member of the family. Great for walking to and from the bathroom, navigating the campsite or even great to use while around the campfire. This one is designed to be ultra-light and comfortable while packing 100 lumens and contains a high, medium and low beam option. This one is extra nice because it is designed to stay close to your forehead to reduce weight imbalance for a better fit and contains an optical lens with independent articulation for a more precise beam.
The Double Mint Castile Soap by Sierra Sage is a product that helps you reduce impact on nature. This guilt-free soap is 100% natural and made with organic oils free of petroleum, mineral oil or parabens which are found in most soaps and can have a harmful impact to plants and wildlife. I always try and teach my girls to leave nature and our campsites cleaner than how we found them and this is one way we can do just that.
After I get my monthly box I like to check out the website for each of the brands represented and I usually find a ton of other products I would like to try as well. I really do enjoy finding out about new brands, especially small-family run companies that I can help support.
I LOVE the addition of a little challenge included with each box. Getting new items through The Nomadik box is a great way to give you the push you need to get out and try something new.?They have an AMAZING 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you don?t like what you got then they will send you a new item free of charge. I can?t wait to see what is in the next box!
