POP, mixed media on canvas by Kellie Day
Have you ever wanted to take an art class, but just can?t dedicate the time? What if you could take the class when you had free time?? Kellie Day has created a 12 week mixed media e-course called?Pedal to Petal that begins February 6th.? The best part is that the class will be available to you for three months after the class.? This is perfect for busy parents like me that cannot always dedicate 30 minutes to two hours each day over the course of 12 days.? That means that you have no excuses for not completing this course.
Each day that you log in with your password, you will be able to click on that day’s lesson. You will not be able to see the next day’s lesson in advance.? Each day covers a new topic and builds upon itself.? The lessons have a written page, photographs, a prompt or creative task for you to work and on some days a short video example. Sign up?before December 31 and get the Early Bird price.? If you have questions or would like feedback you can ask Kellie at the bottom of each day’s class page.? You will receive an invitation to join a private class Facebook page for Pedal to Petal.? This is where you share your artwork; connect with other artists and no one outside the class can see.

Prune Puffs, mixed media on canvas by Kellie Day
As an artist I am always trying new mediums and techniques. For some time I have been creating mixed media paintings, but still have a lot to learn. ?This course will help me broaden my skills as an artist, and give me more of a direction in mixed media.? Sometimes we just need to learn new skills that another artist has mastered.? I have never used some of the supplies that are required for this class.? If you are a perfectionist like me then this is the course for you to loosen up and paint in a playful, relaxed manner.
