I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Rubbermaid. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
It’s football season and the thing that I love the most about this time of year?is the food that comes along with it. There’s not much that beats tailgating food and I’m always thinking of new ideas for our game day festivities. When we head to high school football games or someone’s house to watch the NFL games, ?I tend?to have a hard time?getting the food from here. But thanks to Rubbermaid and their new Party Platter and Easy Find Lids containers, packing food?to take along is a breeze.
The Rubbermaid Party platter rocks because you can use it to haul anything. I’ve done veggies, fruit and you could even do meat and cheeses or any combination of things that you like. It’s got a dived base with 4 compartments so everything stays separate and an even has a leak-proof Twist & Seal? inner container to hold?dip or whatever else you want.?Just snap the secure lid when you’re packing it to go and you can ditch the flimsy foil cover!
The Easy Find Lids containers rock because the name says it all – the lids are easy to find. They snap together so you’re never stuck looking for lids, while each of the containers fits into each other for easy stacking and storing. The even snap to the bottom of their corresponding containers so they’re virtually impossible to lose! When in use, the square containers nest together for easy stacking. The Rubbermaid?Party Platter and Easy Find Lids containers are?100% BPA free?and also?microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
I like to provide options that are a little bit healthier than your typical game day fare’so I often?incorporate fruit and veggies into our party spread. To make the fruit more fun and festive,?I whipped up some of my tasty Strawberry Fruit fluff to dip the fruit in, which I’ve shared the recipe for below.
Other ideas that are great for game day are sandwiches with all of the fixin’s. I just grab a load of french bread, load it with meat and cheese, then have containers filled with toppings like lettuce and onions as well as condiments on the side. Sausage and cheese is another tasty idea and you can’t forget a dessert option like mini sugar cookies.
