My son is at the point where he loves to see his name. He knows how to spell it and can recognize it when written, so I thought it would be a nice surprise to get him some personalized books from?I See Me!?He was so excited to see that not only was his name on the book, but the character in the book looked like him, too.

I See Me! was started in 2000 by a husband and wife team. Their son had received a personalized book a few years earlier, and while they thought it was wonderful to have his name on something, they felt the illustrations could use some work and the story could be more customized to the child. The first book, My Very Own Name, was developed to help children recognize letters and spell their name. Their?mission is to increase self esteem in children through personalized books that celebrate the uniqueness of each child.
As soon as I saw the Speedster Personalized Book I knew I had to get it for my son. He loves cars, especially race cars so I thought it would be the perfect story for him. He was thrilled’seeing his name throughout the book and especially that he won the race at the end. He cheered for himself and was so happy he got?a trophy in the story. I thought the illustrations were great in this book – very fun and engaging. I was able to personalize the character to look like him and got to pick his favorite color, red, to be the color of his race car.
Since he will be starting preschool in a month, I thought getting him the ?I Wish You More Personalized Book would be a nice gift as well.
