I have 2 kids and my oldest especially tries my patience at every turn. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact we are so alike which means a whole lot of stubbornness and a strong-will. I have been looking for a better way to encourage good behavior and I am really liking the idea behind the Behavior World App. Behavior World is a customizable, positive reinforcement tool for parents, teachers and other individuals working with children. Behavior World helps children improve their behavior and learn new skills at school AND at Home! It is a fun chart where they can see their progress and it is on your phone so you can easily update it anytime you see positive behavior.

You start by setting? up a profile for each child, one at a time.
Let them pick their buddy and background to really let them get into the spirit of it and to make it fun for them.
Once you have created a Behavior World chart, it’s time to begin awarding Buddy Tokens! Buddy Tokens are earned each time improved behavior is demonstrated.? With every Buddy Token earned, each child moves one step closer to earning their reward!
You can set up a timer to remind yourself to reward tokens and you can also adjust it so they have to achieve so many tokens before getting the award (it is pre-set to 10 tokens needed).

My girls always seem to do well when they have a chart where they can see their progress and with this they know what reward they are trying to achieve too. When school starts up again I plan on integrating school behaviors to improve upon for Big Sis. The app is FREE to download in the APPLE App Store but offers in-app purchases to get access to more themes, buddies and to make it multi-user. This is an absolutely fantastic positive reinforcement tool for parents. It is super easy for me to use and it is actually fun for my kids. They get excited to see their progress and of course they are most excited to reach their goal. I am excited because I get to see my children constantly working on their good behavior.
