As if our house wasn’t full enough, we decided to add a kitten to the mix earlier this year. Our little Remi grew, became the dogs’ best friend and we decided it would be nice for him to have someone his own size to play with. So we added baby Nala to our family. She’s just a few months old and cute as can be.
We love our kitties and want to serve them healthy cat food that is delicious, good for them and one that contains real meat. We recently tried Rachael Ray’s Nutrish for Cats and they loved it. It’s the best cat food we’ve tried so far. Nala liked the dry food, but especially loved it with wet food mixed in. She even had some fun playing in the paper bag!
Both of the kitties enjoyed the food and especially loved when we added the Ocean Fish-A-Licious flavor. There’s just something about fish, I suppose! You can save a few bucks by grabbing these Nutrish for Cats coupons. If you’re unsure where it’s sold, you can check where to buy Nutrish. Of course, you can follow Nutrish via @Nutrish on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as well.
Since real meat like chicken or fish is the main ingredient in Nutrish cat food, I was inspired to make a meal for myself. I’m rather picky with fish, so I opted for a chicken dish. Now that I’ve been trying to eat healthier myself, a nice homemade Chicken Cobb Salad sounded just delightful!
Making a Chicken Cobb Salad is much easier than you think and mine was done in no time at all. I chopped some Romaine lettuce, arranged it nicely in a bowl, then added 1/4 cup cooked chicken, diced. I added some cucumber, tomatoes, hard boiled egg, cheese and croutons, then loaded it with my favorite Caesar dressing.
