Summertime is full of parties and get togethers for us. I swear, there’s something going on almost every weekend and this year, we had a big celebration ourselves. My little brother graduated from High School in June and we threw a large party for him the first weekend in August.
Now let me remind you that I had a backyard wedding two years ago and pulled it off with the help from family and friends, but also a lot of work that I did completely solo. I didn’t want to stress over certain things for this party because I remember how hectic things can get. Thankfully, the lovely people at Reser’s sent me a variety of salads and dips to help cut my time in the kitchen. Let me just tell you right now, it was a life saver!
We had Cole Slaw, Macaroni Salad, Deviled Egg Potato Salad and Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad. My salads were taken care of! Then we had three different types of Salsa – Fire Roasted, Peach Mango and Original. We also had Stonemill Kitchens Three Cheese Peperoncini Dip, Spinach Artichoke Parmesan Dip and Artichoke Jalapeno Dip. Reser’s Salads and dips completed almost our entire party buffet, aside for the meat, fruit and a couple of other things.
Our guests raved over the food and found it hard to believe that the salads and dips weren’t homemade! All of the food went over well, but I did notice a few favorites that seemed to go quicker than others. The Deviled Egg Potato Salad was definitely the biggest crowd pleaser in the salad category, with the Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad a close second. The Cole Slaw went over very well though, as did the Macaroni Salad.
I actually had to replenish the Spinach Artichoke Parmesan Dip almost immediately because people were just loading their plates. That was definitely an amazing dip and better than most Spinach Artichoke dips that I’ve had in restaurants! We were all quite impressed and hubby has requested more – lots more!

I am thankful for the time these salads and dips saved me from having to spend in the kitchen. But most of all, I’m so happy that everything was delicious and that my guests loved the food! I take great pride in my cooking and am known for my fantastic party spreads. I’m glad that Reser’s salads and dips are up to par with the home cooked goodness that my family and friends love! I can say that without a doubt, I will be serving Reser’s Salads and Dips at gatherings in the future!
