Patchi may have been the runt of the litter but he is definitely full of excitement. He doesn’t care that he is smaller than the other dinosaurs or that he has a hole in his frill. Soon his herd that his father is the leader of have to migrate to new grounds. On the way there they are met with adversity and loss. Patchi finds himself alone with his brother, his bird friend and the girl he has a crush on named Juniper. Together they must find a way to survive and get back to the herd. The problem is that his brother doesn’t listen to anything he says just because he is smaller and that leads to a dangerous situation for the whole herd. Watch Patchi as he shows everyone that size doesn’t always matter.
This fun movie has amazing graphics and was perfect for our Friday night family movie night. The dinosaurs looked so real and it had educational information throughout the whole movie so that kids can learn more about dinosaurs. With Easter coming this would make a great gift to stick in any kid’s Easter basket.
