I was very excited to be able to review Hasbro’s Scrabble. Talk about a walk back in time.? This game is still as much fun as it was when I was a kid and now they’ve added a few new twists.? You have your Classic Scrabble, Power Tile Game and Team play Game for four players.
The instructions for each game were very clear and easy to understand.? My husband and I had a game night with some friends of ours and we had a lot of fun playing the Classic version.? It had us all laughing and smiling and remembering days gone by.? Challenges were a lot of fun and I think we all might have learned a thing or two which is always a plus.? We decided to keep it “old school” and used an actual hard cover dictionary instead of the internet.? That even made us all laugh.? This is a wonderful game for adults and children alike and it never gets old.? I have very fond memories of family game nights as a child and yes we played Scrabble.? I highly recommend this game!? There is lots of fun to be had by “kids” of all ages!
“Because of the educational benefits of using SCRABBLE in the classroom,
Hasbro has teamed up with teachers and community leaders to create
School SCRABBLE Clubs. Designed for kids in 4th through 8th grades,
School SCRABBLE Clubs can be established in the classroom, as an
after-school club or through other community organizations, such as a
library. Kids play in pairs, making it even more fun when they play high
value letters on a triple word score! High fives for everyone!” ?
“You can learn more about the program, register a club,
watch videos and find tips about how to start a club at our School
SCRABBLE Club website: http://www.hasbro.com/scrabble/en_US/school.cfm.”
“As a way to bring all School SCRABBLE Clubs together, players from
across the U.S. are invited to compete for the title of National School
SCRABBLE champions. The 2014
National School SCRABBLE Tournament will take place at Hasbro’s new
facilities in Providence, Rhode Island on April 25-27.”
