Frustrations occur all the time in our lives. This book is a great tool to teach our children how to deal with their frustrations at a young age so that they can enjoy the quality of life we want them to have. Life is too precious to to worry about the small things. I have read this book several times to both my girls (3, 8), and every time they go away saying NO BIGGY! The most meaningful lessons we can teach our children are love and patience. I predict that NO BIGGY will become my children’s favorite phrase. Elycia Rubin has even left blank pages in the back of her book for coming up with your own NO BIGGY!
Brandon Waltman does a terrific job illustrating NO BIGGY! As an artist I love to see the sketches of how an illustrator gets to their final draft. He has done a terrific job bringing out the little girl’s emotions into his work.
I love books that teach our children about patience. I definitely recommend NO BIGGY! to all parents.
