“Nestl? Drumstick is the Original Sundae Cone. In 1928, the Parker Brothers took the waffle cone to the next level but adding a chocolate coating to ice cream and covering the top with nuts. One of the brothers? wives said it looked like a fried chicken leg and thus, the Drumstick novelty was born!”
What a fun beginning, isn’t it? I never thought of a fried chicken leg, but I totally see it now!
The kids love ice cream treats that they can just grab right out of the package and Nestl? Drumsticks are one of their favorites. So this afternoon, I grabbed a box while I was grocery shopping!
My kids were still at school when I returned from running my errands, but the bigger boys were home with a friend. I bribed them all with a Nestl? Drumsticks for a photo opp! The photos didn’t turn out so hot since I left the macro setting on {oops}, but they sure did enjoy the ice cream!
The Man and my FIL got a treat too, though they’re a bit more camera shy. My FIL was planting some veggies in the garden when I brought the Nestl? Drumsticks out, so he appreciated the break and a nice cold and creamy treat!
When Big Bro came home from school, he was greeted right in the front yard with a Nestl? Drumstick – and my camera of course!
