TIME For Kids BIG Book of Where presents kids 8-12 years old with answers to the kinds of intriguing geography questions that appeal to their sense of curiosity. Colorful maps, spectacular photos and clear, engaging diagrams will help answer questions such as: Where is the tallest mountain?; Where did the Olympics begin?; Where is the Petrified Forest?; Where are diamonds found?; Where was the hamburger invented?; Where does spam go after you delete it?
A must have geography book for young kids, Big Book of Where showcases beautiful bright images of places all around the world with maps and diagrams that showcase the history, culture, animals and customs. Even my little tot was engaged in the book, pointing out different things he recognized and loved hearing tidbits about lands he hasn’t even fully imagined yet. It is so compelling to read and allows children to follow along, engaging in the learning process.
The nice thing about Big Book of Where is that it is written with its age group in consideration and includes just as many fun “where” answers, such as “Where were LEGO bricks invented?”
Big Book of Where breaks up into sections via continents, oceans, space and of course “Home”. Where my older son likes to read up about the different geographical locations, my tot loves the answers to places in the home section, such as: Where do the most germs hide out? and Where does your trash go?
This is a fantastic book for summer reading, condensing so many amazing places with facts about the world around us and takes your children on a worldwide expedition! I actually got pretty drawn into the book myself and was amazed at so many things I didn’t know!
You can pick up TIME for Kids – Big Book of Where for $14.36 on Amazon. Make sure to check out the other selections: Big Book of Why, Big Book of How and Big Book of What!
