International Home & Housewares Show

Overall, I had a great time at the International Home & Housewares Show. It was definitely an experience to remember. I met with a lot of brands, made some great connections and learned a lot. I think the best part was meeting Bozena from Wilks Communications and Chris from Zak Designs. We have worked with them both a number of times through the years, so it was great to finally put a face to the name! Of course we got to preview some of their latest and greatest products coming out too, which was quite awesome! Wilks was representing a new client, iCoffee which takes coffee to a totally new level!

While Maureen was checking out a really amazing massage chair {lucky girl!}, I stopped at a few booths that were in the same vicinity. The Holstein booth immediately caught my eye with all of their bright colors. They have a full line of fun products including a fun cupcake maker that bakes cupcakes in minutes!

We saw a lot of great products and met some great people. I was so busy chatting and learning, that I didn’t even pull out my camera, except to take a video; which of course I cannot find anywhere, though I know I downloaded it!

One of the most memorable companies that I met with was Grandma’s Pure & Natural. It is owned and run by, you guessed it, a grandma and grandpa. They went into their whole story behind why they started and I have to say that it was quite inspirational. They carry a variety of products from soap and lotion to laundry detergent and even mosquito repellent that is DEET free!

I am pretty sure that I will definitely be attending next year, if they will have me again of course. I might make a whole weekend out of it next time and do some of the fun parties that I heard all about. I know I would have loved to meet Buddy from Carlo’s Bakery, you know from Cake Boss and Next Great Baker! I did see their booth at least!
