Once you have a teenager you begin to have a whole new appreciation for deodorant. Once my son started having hormones I began to truly realize the amazing power of deodorant. It not only masks the most horrid scent and odd fluids that can come out of your pores, but the best kinds do it discretely.
Stress sweat is the worst and as a person who stresses a lot, I know. I have a teenager and a toddler that keep me on my toes day and night. If I’m not found dancing around the house pretending to be a steam roller, I’m probably arguing with my teen over how to properly clean a bedroom. I’ve always been a “Secret” lady, probably since I saw the 1980s commercials where they end with, “Strong Enough for a Man, but Ph Balanced for a Woman”. I had always purchased the original without much thought, but the other day I was introduced to their new line Secret Clinical Strength which provides 4x more protection for stress.
I personally tried the Stress Response deodorant that is favored by Oprah’s Lifeclass. The scent is a very light Serene Citrus, which is great for mornings and relaxation. Being designed specifically for stress, I was curious as to how well it would work, so I put myself through some rigorous toddler/Mommy exercises! And I suppose my son was wanting to test out the stress response when he decided to forget to turn in a homework assignment and made me stress out over his grades. We can pretend.
I can honestly say it held out against my family trials and at the end of the day I still carried the breeze of morning citrus! However, if citrus isn’t your scent they have plenty of others to choose from.

Instead of a solid stick, it is more like a cream. You push it up and smooth it on and as you do it becomes invisible. It doesn’t turn back into a powder as some creams do, nor does it leave white marks on your clothes. It smooths on very well and the lingering scent doesn’t escape past your clothing so you can still wear your perfume.
