I’m not sure how we first stumbled upon Dino Dan a couple of years ago, but my dinosaur obsessed kid has been all about Dan for most of his short life. Discovering dinosaurs was great, but, as a little boy, he always gravitated towards Dan’s little brother, Trek, and would wonder why he couldn’t see the cool dinosaurs too.

Now that a few years have passed, Trek has grown up a bit and his older brother is off with their father on an archeology dig. Without his brother around, Trek is bummed out, that’s until Dan sends him a care package of his dinosaur exporting tools, and it turns out that now Trek can see dinosaurs too! My little guy was so excited that it was Trek’s turn to go on adventures, that he gathered his troop of stuffed dinosaurs to watch all five episodes. Unfortunately, he was also in a sour mood with me and wouldn’t let me take his picture.

Sonshine’s favorite episode is when Grandma comes over to help Trek with his art class homework. They end up creating an awesome comic book about a superhero caveman who has to save the dinosaurs before a volcano erupts! The episodes are very reminiscent of the original Dino Dan episodes but with a fun, fresh twist with a new lead character!

Working from home, I need functional products in my office area. Let me tell you, nothing is more frustrating than having things that either don’t work, or do half of the job that I need them to. So when my printer finally took a dump recently, I knew I wasn’t going with that particular brand. It was like getting a gift inside a gift, which I really appreciated because I print quite often! I’m sure any Blogger can relate to that!

The Epson Expression Premium XP-610 Small-in-One Printer was very easy for my husband to set up. He had to lightly shake the black ink to make sure there was no settlement at the bottom of the cartridge. The cartridges were easy to install and took just a few short minutes. From there, it was smooth sailing and we set it right on my desk.

What I really like is the paper tray. I know that may seem silly to you, but I can’t stand when papers just fly out at you, so this feature really stood out to me. I can start printing a bunch of pages, leave the room and they’re all in a nice pile on the tray when I return.

The paper tray is also easy to fill. You can adjust the side walls to fit whichever size paper you are putting in. It’s easy to open and close so there is no fumbling around.

The scanner is right on top with an easy to open lid. It’s very easy to use, controlled right from the screen on the face of the printer. I use this quite often and it works great!

The sleek black design looks nice sitting on my desk and I like that the top is flat, so I can put stuff on top of it. I keep a speaker up there as well as my camera when it’s not in use since it sits right next to my computer tower.

I don’t personally have any need to print while I’m on the go currently, but I LOVE that option. Imagine the convenience?!

Catty Stacks Make the Purr-fect Kitty Condos!

Since we got a new kitten about a month ago, I knew we would need lots of fun stuff for him. I’m sure you know, kittens love to play! In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s their favorite thing to do! That’s why I just knew Catty Stacks would be purr-fect for our little Remi!

Cat furniture has never been so fun! We all know cats love playing, hiding, nesting, stalking, and sleeping in almost any box. These industrial-strength boxes are made from incredibly strong Corrugated Ultraboard? which is recycled, recyclable, and uses vegetable-based ink. Catty Stacks secure to each other forming stable structures and can be easily moved and rearranged, helping maintain your cat’s interest. Create climbing structures to promote healthy exercise. Excellent for multiple cats.

Now, the very first thing that I noticed about Catty Stacks is that you can set up as many or as little as you like. Each box secures to another, so you can just keep adding on until you’ve reached the desired size of your little Cat Condos.

My package contained 6 Catty Stacks and they each needed to be assembled. I had my son and his friend help me and they did alright, but kept getting confused as to how to secure them. So instead, I had the kids just bend the cardboard flaps the correct way and I did all the rest. As an adult, I found them quite easy to assemble and you could easily assemble them all by yourself.

As you can see, Remi is sure impressed with his Catty Stacks. He likes to lounge on it, as seen above. Of course, his favorite thing to do is play in it. He’ll get hyper and run through all the little boxes. It’s actually quite funny!

The Catty Stacks are cardboard, but it’s a very thick grade of cardboard and seems to be able to really hold up. I love that they can easily be taken apart and rearranged. That allows us to use them anywhere in the home. Eventually, I’d like to get some of the Crawl Tunnels because I think he’d really enjoy those!

If you’re looking for a condo type product for your cat(s), I highly recommend Catty Stacks. I think they’re especially unique in the fact that they can be easily added to. They can also be stored flat if for some reason, you ever have less room in your home!

Pizza Casserole & Almond Flour Pizza Crust Recipes

Pizza Casserole

1 pound bulk Italian Sausage
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup of pizza sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning and/or basil
8 ounces pepperoni, separated (4 ounces cut in half)
1 green pepper, chopped
16 ounces shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
1 onion (large dice)

Instructions:

Brown the sausage with the mushrooms; drain the grease. After the sausage is browned add onions and saute until translucent. Add green peppers and saute then add 4 oz of halved pepperoni. Meanwhile, whisk the cream, pizza sauce and seasonings in a medium bowl. Make Pizza dough below.

Once the dough is lightly browned add meat/onion/peppers and then pour in the sauce mixture. Top with the half of cheese and pepperoni. Sprinkle with a little more garlic powder, Italian seasoning and a any remaining cheese. Bake at 350? for 30 minutes until nicely browned.

Almond Flour Pizza Crust Recipe

2 Cups Almond Meal/Flour
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tsp salt

Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together to form a dough.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
3. Spread the dough into a greased 9×13 pan.
4. Bake for 10-15 minutes ? until middle is cooked.
5. Take out of the oven and finish your pizza casserole

I like this recipe because it is pizza and my kids love pizza so I find that this recipe is especially kid friendly.
