Step into Summer – Prime Time Toys Splash Bombs Party Value Pack Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

Blog· Giveaways· Review

Photobucket

Welcome to our Step into Summer event! Jennifer and I have some wonderful things lined up for you to help you get ready for summer. Make sure you visit Jennifer at Eighty MPH Mom daily to see what she has in store for you too. Many days we will be reviewing and giving away the same item on both blogs – that is two chances for you to win!

About Prime Time Toys:

“Since the early 1990’s, Prime Time has been producing fun, innovative toys and games that can be enjoyed both in and out of the water.

Starting with the world famous Splash Bombs?, we have developed a line of water activities designed to give families hours of fun together. Just because Mom is sitting by the pool reading a book doesn?t mean she doesn?t deserve a good soaking! Every kid knows that! We just provide the tools to get the job done; like our patented Max Liquidator? line with easy to use products that blast water up to 30 feet!”

We spend quite a bit of time at the man’s aunt’s house during the summer months. They have a huge yard and a swimming pool, so it’s sort of like a family gathering place. The kids beg me to go every time it’s hot out. Lately, that’s been almost every day!

Swimming in the pool is one thing, but really you got to have toys too. I mean, what kid wants to just jump in and out and have nothing to play with. They want fun water toys like the ones shown here. Prime Time Toys sent me a kit that includes bat, paddle, 2- Splash Bombs, cube, football and fling. We took it to his aunt’s the very first day that it was nice enough to swim and all of the kids had a blast with the stuff. It’s stayed there since so that everyone can play with the stuff and it’s better than lugging it around every time we go. We were over there last week and I was even playing with the stuff! We were playing catch with the football and splash bombs and trying to soak each other. It was tons of fun!

Here’s a shot of Big Bro playing catch with someone the first day they went swimming over there. You can see all the rest of the stuff floating around in the background too.

Step into Summer – L.L. Bean Softpack Cooler, Picnic & Adventure Tote Review

L.L.Bean, Inc. has been a trusted source for quality apparel, reliable outdoor equipment and expert advice for more than 95 years.

Founded in 1912 by Leon Leonwood Bean, the company has grown from a one-man operation to a global organization with annual sales of $1.5 billion. Our company headquarters are in Freeport, Maine, just down the road from our original store.

We spend a lot of time outdoors and on the go in the summertime. Cold drinks are always a necessity so it’s nice to have a cooler on hand. We have usually just loaded our big cooler into the truck and headed out, but that’s not always very convenient. Sometimes it would be nice to have a little one like the Softpack Cooler, Picnic shown here.

I was so disappointed that I forgot to pack it along for our camping trip because it would have been perfect for all of our fishing trips.

I did take it along with us the other day though and it was perfect. It holds quite a bit too. I had 6 sodas, a few juice boxes and some oranges in there with plenty of room to spare. There’s a bunch of pockets around the outside to hold other stuff too!

We head out to the park and beach pretty often too and the Adventure Tote above sure makes those trips easier! It is huge and can hold all of our stuff which is totally awesome because we usually have quite a bit of stuff to lug around with us. I just adore the vibrant orange color. It comes in 3 different sizes too, so you could get a matching set if you’d like!

L.L. Bean carries tons of different things for the entire family. browsing through their site, i noticed that they carry camping gear too! I am always on the lookout for camp cookware and this Bugaboo Camper Cook System would be perfect for us! I found a bunch of cool chairs I wouldn’t mind having either!

Buy It!

You can buy the Softpack Cooler, Picnic for $39.50 and the extra large Adventure Tote for $29.95.
