As you all know, I am all about easy! None of us have much (if any) extra free time. Keeping that in mind, I made a very easy, very quick graduation card for my nephew. He is graduating this weekend from high school. In the fall he is off to my Alma Mater….Central Michigan University. Go Chippewas! His older sister goes there too!
Supplies Used:
Cardstock – StampinUp vanilla (cut 12 x 5), Walmart black (cut 5 3/4 x 4 3/4) and glitter gold (5 1/2 x 4 1/2)
Cricut Cartridge – A Child’s Year (5 x 3.78)
Marker – fine time black
Stamp – Paper Trey Ink signature greetings
Ink – Paper Trey Ink true black
Punch – StampinUp spiral
Adhesive – ATG and pop dots
Step 1: Score the vanilla paper at 6 inches, so when folded, the card is 6 x 5. Adhere the black paper.
Step 2: Punch one end (4 1/2 end) on the glitter gold paper. Adhere to the black paper.
Step 3: Cut the graduation cap using your cricut two times. Once in black and once in glitter gold. Using just the tassel pieces from the glitter gold, I adhere them to black cap. I took a fine time black marker and made tassel lines. Adhere with pop dots
Step 4: In the lower left corner, stamp your sentiment in black.
Quick, easy, done! Is anyone special in your life graduating this year?
Have a great weekend everyone!
