The Alphabeasts are super-friendly characters that possess special powers. These incredible powers help the beasts work together to solve any problem on their exciting adventures. Always doing what is right, the Alphabeasts are giving and courteous, and they love to watch out for each other.
Andy Ferguson and Chad Whitman wanted to incorporate education with their children’s toys and found a void that could be filled with something fun and intensely imaginative. Using the 26 letters of the Alphabet, the beginning of all of our learning, they created Alphabeasts. The Alphabeasts help to teach children not only their Alphabet (upper and lower case) but words, word association, pronunciation, sharing and so much more. Each Alphabeast has their own set of skills that work in conjunction with the others so that they are always helping each other to solve problems, much like how they would work together to spell words. These are absolutely fantastic toys to help teach Toddlers their letters!

Judah showing Mommy, “O”. |
We were given the chance to review 4 Alphabeasts and my kids couldn’t have been happier, yes even my 13 year old! He actually saw his, “C” for Calicocious and snatched it up and took off to his room. Now Calicocious lives in the basement, in the Kids Cave to be more exact. The other 3 we were blessed to have in our home are “J” Juno, “O” Obaboo (Judah’s favorite.) and “R” Robbletop, but J & C were special for me because they were the first letters of my son’s names.
Juno is a humble beast that doesn?t always know his own strength. He’s extremely friendly and is always there to lend a helping hand to other beasts in any situation. Whether it’s some heavy lifting that needs to be done, or a big load that needs to be carried, Juno will be there to assist with his awesome strength.
The majestic swimmer of Alphaland. Calicocious is an easy going beast that can be found exploring all the underwater world has to offer. Rivers, lakes, streams and oceans all make this beast feel right at home. When a good swimmer is needed, you can count on Calicocious to make things okee-docious.
So while Juno, Obaboo and Robbletop are hanging out in Judah’s room at the moment, Calicocious is having a great time playing video games downstairs. No matter how old your kids are, they have a love of Monsters and pretty soon we’ll be opening our doors to Wombat, who Cody said Calicocious needs to be 2nd player.
Coming August 15th there will be a ABC Books Box Set available to go along with all your favorite Alphabeasts! I can’t wait! Judah’s favorite thing has been the insert that came with his Alphabeasts that shows all of them and their stories, he will LOVE the board books! Bookmark their site, “Like” them on Facebook and don’t miss out when they become available!
