They’ve rolled out adorable, 100% cotton and machine washable (yes!) kids cooking apron, chef hat and oven mitt.
Each accessory is colorfully printed with fruits, vegetables and foods from around the world. For Sonshine, this is a great opportunity to learn new foods or point them out as we bake or prep for dinner. As he grows older, they will be great images to spring board a conversation while cooking. Think along the lines of explaining where eggs come from as we crack one into a cupcake mix!
The chef apron has a drawstring that loops around the neck and then down to tie around the waist. Simply pull the string to adjust to your kids size. Right now, it covers my (almost) two year old neck to toe, so, clean up is a breeze! I just throw the messy apron in with a load of laundry. The colors did not bleed and kept as vibrant as when I first received the items. The apron also has large red pockets on the front. I took a wooden spoon and stuck it inside. He loved it and was able to locate the picture of the spoon on his apron and oven mitt.Connect
