Is your excuse for skipping your workout that you just don’t have time? Mark Basso, of Iron Lotus PT (a wellness company that offers personal training, nutrition consultation and more) and Rob Basso of Basso on Business (and not at all related to Mark Basso) met several years ago and began working out and training together. As their businesses expanded they discovered that time was a huge factor in their training.
Together they created BusyFit, a workout DVD designed to:

While BusyFit was designed with the busy professional in mind, busy moms can benefit as well. We too are busy going from one place to the next and rarely find the time to fit in a workout.
I tried BusyFit one day when my attempts to go for a run were stymied by the short legs of my four year old (I thought he would be able to ride his bike much farther than he thought he could). The short video takes you through a circuit of moves that combine core and strength (many moves are adjusted from what you would usually do in order to engage the core, thereby getting more of a workout in less time). The video moves a little quickly, but it reminds you to pause and practice a move if you are not able to keep up with the pace.
I think this is a great video for someone looking to start working out but just can’t seem to squeeze in the time for a trip to the gym, especially now that the weather is getting colder and outdoor fitness is getting harder. The moves are great for engaging more than one muscle group at a time, and would also be a great addition to your current workout program.
