This post is made in partnership with Epic!. Opinions and stories are my own.
Reading is something that happens every day, and even multiple times a day, in our house. My son just loves to read and I look forward to sitting down and picking out our nighttime stories.?Although we have a fair amount of books, we’re always going to the library to check out new ones. I’ve often wished we had access to a library’s worth of books at home and now we can with the Epic! app.
Epic! is the leading all you can read app geared towards kids age 12 and under.?Epic!’s library of over 10,000 books (with more being added each week)?includes a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books from leading publishers?and includes many popular series like Goosebumps, Clifford, Fancy Nancy, The Berenstain Bears, and more. Epic!?includes any type of book you can think of -?picture books, chapter books, early readers, and even audiobooks and graphic novels. They even offer Spanish and bilingual Spanish/English books.?Their selection of books is truly epic.
When you download the app, it asks you some questions like age, the types of things your child is interested in, as well as the type of books your child likes to read. They really cover a lot of preferences to best tailor their book recommendations. You also get badges and rewards as you read, encouraging your child to read even more.
My son and I had a great time using Epic! Not only did it make reading more fun, but we discovered so many new titles and genres of books that I wouldn’t have necessarily known about on my own. He loved that there are both fun fiction books as well as his personal favorite, the National Geographic ones. Although I got tired of reading after a while, we both appreciated the Read-to-Me books because he was able to keep reading without me.
A subscription to Epic! would make the perfect gift this holiday season. My son has so many toys and things that he tends to forget about between the time Christmas morning ends and the new year arrives. Epic! is like the gift that keeps on giving – providing unlimited access to books and putting a whole new spin on reading. They offer month-to-month as well as 3, 6 or 12?month subscriptions, making it easy for grandparents or other family members to give this as a gift.
How would you like to try a 2 month subscription to Epic! for free? Simply go to?www.getepic.com/promo, create your?account and enter the promo code:EPICOUTNUMBERED. This code is good between now through the end of the day on 11/22.
