I have never seen my son so excited when one of my review items showed, until the Little Tikes Hide & Seek Climber showed up at our door last week. Big could barely contain himself and wanted to help my husband put it together the second I brought it in the house. Luckily we distracted him with the thought of going to the pool and got him to hold off until the next morning to help hubs put it together.

The Little Tikes Hide & Seek Climber delivers a world of fun for toddler girls and boys. The climber comes with a climbing rock-wall designed for beginners and an adventurous tunnel that kids love to crawl through and hide in. This Little Tikes climber is just the right size for toddlers and is a great way to build coordination.

I thought for sure it would take at least an hour to get the Hide & Seek Climber all together and ready to test out. To my surprise hubs and Big had it together in less than 5 minutes, and that was with an 11 month crawling around like a mad man. I was shocked when I woke up and hubs said he had put it together so quickly. A few years ago I put together another brands wagon and I kid you not, it took me well over an hour. From now on anything we buy for kids along the lines of big plastic toys will be from Little Tikes.

Not only was the Little Tikes Hide & Seek Climber a breeze to put together, but both my boys loved it (Big is 3 1/2 and Little is 11 months). The Hide & Seek climber is recommend for ages 1-4 and I would say that their estimate is dead on. My Little had a great time trying to climb up the slide, and after a week can almost get to the top by himself. Little has also attempted to climb up the back side which has a small rock climbing wall on it. He can’t quite do that one on his own yet though. Big can easily climb the rock climbing wall on the back of the slide and loves sliding down backwards, or on a pillow. My older son quickly found out that sliding down backwards caused you to slide faster, which he loved. Other wise the slide is a little slower and has a smaller slope on it, which is perfect for my little guy.

Aside from the rock climbing wall and slide the Hide & Seek Climber also has two openings on either side of it. These openings make great hiding spots for little ones. More than once I have caught Big trying to pull Little through the hole on the side so that they could hide together. Big has also taken his blankets and pillow inside and made a little fort. If he was actually quiet for more than 30 seconds at a time it might have made a good hiding spot for him. HAHA.
