Skylanders and all their glory are kind of a big deal around my household. My four year old son is obsessed with Skylanders in any form and his favorite is the newest line, SWAP Force! These Skylanders can swap their upper and lower bodies to create brand new heroes again and again and again. But, the figures for the games are just a bit too heavy for imagination play, and that’s why I’m super excited about the light weight and just as fun Mega Bloks SWAP Force heroes!
Sonshine was excited to see two of his favorite characters turned into Mega Bloks, Wash Buckler and Magna Charge. Wash Buckler is a pirate with eight legs, comparable to an octopus, with a lot more flair and no peg legs! Magna Charge is a magnetic robot that rolls around, blasting away the evil forces sent by Master Kaos!
Per kit, there are over 100 pieces to build go create each unique, individual character. It was the perfect activity for my son and husband to do together! The heroes have special micro axises that allow your child to swap bodies to create new heroes at whim!
Magna Charge is the red robot on the left, Wash Buckler is on the right. (He’s my favorite!) Switch the tops and suddenly you’re battling evil and saving Cloudbreak Islands with Magna Buckler and Wash Charge! Bonus, they’re compatible with other Mega Bloke SWAP Force toys making the possibilities of new heroes almost endless!
