I received a sample for review. All opinions are of my own.
This was my son’s first week back to school. He’s so happy to be back, and to be honest, I’m glad to have a few hours break during the day. One thing I was not looking forward to was the food prep. I always feel like I’m running behind in the morning while I try to make his lunch and get everything ready. This year I have some new favorite back to school?essentials that make packing lunches and snacks so much easier.
Packing hot foods can be a bit of a challenge if you don’t have the right container. I’m loving Reduce’s Fire + Ice 10oz Vacuum Food Jar. It’s an insulated container to send hot things like soup or chicken nuggets. It’s great for sending cold foods as well as I plan to use it for things like yogurt. It comes in blue or pink and is spill-proof, lunchbox-friend, easy to use, and keeps food hot or cold for up to 6 hours.
Reduce also makes these awesome WaterWeek reusable water bottles. The kids sets come in 5 packs in a variety of cool designs like sports, cute critters, and halloween. Each bottle is 10oz and is BPA-free,?eco-friendly, and dishwasher safe. The sets come with a fridge tray for easy storage.
Now instead of buying juice boxes or water bottles, I can fill these up at the beginning of the week and send one to school each day. These are also perfect for using at sports practices or for weekends on-the-go.
The Kuhn Rikon Pocket Maker Set is perfect for lunches and snacks. It comes with 3 different shapes – flower, heart, and circle – that create fun looking treats and meals. They’re BPA-free and dishwasher safe and really easy to use.
I like using them to cut out my son’s sandwiches. It’s an easy way to make your own uncrustable-style sandwich for lunches. I can’t wait to use this to make pastries and other foods as well.
The Zoku Mini Pop Molds are perfect for an afternoon treat. It can be used to make?ice pops, lollipops, or chocolate treats. To use, just pour the liquid into the mold and freeze. The silicone molds will invert making it easy to remove the pops. It’s so simple to clean as well and my son loves these tiny treats.
My new favorite back to school essentials have saved me a lot of time in the morning with getting my son’s food and snacks ready for the day. Not only are all of the products functional, but they’re fun and versatile too. I’m so glad I can spend less time preparing and a little more time relaxing.
