Our Family Experience at Great Wolf Lodge Over the Years
We started going to Great Wolf Lodge about two decades ago when our kids were young, and now we’re back again with grandkids that love it just as much.
When my kids were little, we would plan fun weekend getaways in the fall and winter for our birthdays. Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells was often a preferred destination because it was just a quick two hour drive, so it was close enough to do a short weekend and have some fun.
We would usually arrive before check-in and get our wrist bands so that we could play in the water park. Then we would check in to our suite later in the day, grab some dinner and head to the arcade. One of our favorite parts of the evening is always the Epic Story Time where the giant clock tower comes to life with animated characters.
Two years ago, we took the grandkids for our youngest’s (at the time) first trip to a water park. We had so much fun chasing after the kids and splashing in the water with them. it was awesome to make those fun family memories that we always enjoyed with our kids, with the grandkids. Our newest granddaughter was born this past October, so we are really looking forward to taking her for our next trip.
