A “Miracle At Manchester” is a powerful film based on a true story about a high school athlete and the power of prayer. This is an inspirational film that all families should watch together as a family. The scripture that comes to mind when I watched it was, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13 (NIV)Brycen Newman has been having horrendous headaches and blackout spells that the doctor has diagnosed as migraines. As it turns out Brycen has a cancerous brain tumor and has to have surgery immediately. Just as he is recovering from his surgery and a terrible staph infection he finds out that the cancer has returned and has to have surgery again. A nurse at the hospital submits Brycen’s name for a Make a Wish Foundation Foundation. Brycen wants to wish for his dad to have a Ford Raptor, but instead the ladies from the Make a Wish Foundation take his sketchbook where he has been drawing HIS favorite cars.
“God is still in the business of miracles. Based on the true story, a high schooler’s bright future changes in an instant when he’s diagnosed with aggressive cancer. But the power of prayer and support from his community renews a father’s faith and brings healing to a family.”
