If you haven’t had the chance to check out Pure Flix you are truly missing out. I have featured several movies and series that have and made an impact in my spiritual walk. Their recent movie I had to pleasure of viewing was An Unlikely Angel, about Janie, a in-control business woman whom is falling apart at the thought of becoming a mom. Will a chance meeting with an angel be an answer to prayer? I was able to relate to this movie on a personal level. As a former school teacher I too struggled with the idea of being pregnant and working. I wasn’t really sure if I was cut out to be a mom or not and I was in a way falling apart at the thought of becoming a mom.
Synopsis:

Janie is a power player in the boardroom but is falling apart at the thought of becoming a mom. A silent prayer for help is answered in very unlikely ways when an Angel intervenes and fast forwards her life. Can Janie learn to trust God and find purpose and meaning in her new role?

Janie is lucky enough to be given a second chance, but will she change before it’s too late?
An Unlikely Angel is a great reminder that it’s ok to not control every aspect of your life and this is proven when the angel shows Janie what life would be like without her for her daughter’s first six years of life. It also makes those parents that are struggling realize that GOD is listening to their prayers, and letting them know that they are not alone in this journey. Remember this verse Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV). Although you may not always feel God’s presence He is with you!
