As my children finished up their Distance Learning Packets from school I gave them personalized collaring books as a reward. This has been a difficult time for everyone and I wanted to let my children know how proud I was of them for working so hard on their packets. Fox Chapel Publishing has a variety personalized colorings books!
I selected the Puppies for my daughter and included a personalized message that read, “To my dog loving daughter who has been working so hard on her Choice Boards!” My son’s message was very similar.
Not sure what to expect next year, but I will definitely need more rewards to keep my children learning at home. As far as I know we will begin the year both in the classroom and distance learning. These coloring books work well with all media: colored pencils, crayons, and markers. My daughter was happy that she could use markers, and that they had finished samples at the back of the book to give her color options. Each page contains a personalized quote by someone famous. Such as the quote that goes along with the page she is coloring, “A dog can express more with his tail in minutes than his owner can express with his tongue in hours” by and unknown author.

Do you color when you get stressed out? I did as a child and still do as an adult. It is one of the best ways for me to relieve stress, and I love seeing the finished product.
