As a blogger, getting people to come to my site and read my content is one of my main goals. I have always wanted this site to be a resource for people who are looking for something specific when it comes to reviews, easy recipes, craft projects, gardening and travel tips; you name it. A few weeks ago, I started a 30 day challenge to learn strategic ways that I can increase my traffic to this site with the book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson.
Through the first part of this 30 day Traffic Secrets challenge, I’ve learned quite a bit already, and I continue to soak up the knowledge every day through reading the book, and completing the new workbook activities each day. Getting consumers to find you is one of the biggest problems that entrepreneurs face when starting a business, and blogging is no different when it comes to that. Many people don’t understand how essential this skill is, so they often fail at building their business or blog.
That’s why this 30 day challenge with Russell Brunson’s book has been so inspiring to me. I’ve learned who my ideal reader is, as well as techniques that will show me new trends to get in front of my audience. That’s what Russel Brunson unveils in his Traffic Secrets book, foundational direct marketing techniques that help you to see these opportunities and trends, that others do not notice. Mastering evergreen traffic strategies is his specialty, and he shares how to reach your dream customer or reader to help increase traffic to your website.
This 30 day Traffic Secrets challenged has really helped to open my eyes and ask who I am writing for, and which people I am looking to drive to my site. I have found that my audience is quite diverse, since I run a lifestyle site, rather than niche site. However, my audience is every day women like myself who are looking for tips on things to make for their families that are easy enough for someone who is not looking to spend hours each day in the kitchen. My audience is also looking for fun crafts to make for their homes, tips on gardening, and recommendations on where to travel with their families. Of course, my readers are always looking for information on the latest new product, as well as toys, books and movies for their children.
Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson is one of those books that is a great tool for anyone who is starting a business or a website/blog. It can really help you think outside of the box and learn new ways to reach the audience that you’re looking for to either read your site, or buy your products.
