Yes, you certainly can substitute marshmallows for marshmallow cream in this recipe. Simply melt down 12 marshmallows, or 120 mini marshmallows to make one cup of fluffy marshmallow mixture. Make sure to add the heated marshmallow mixture in while it’s still hot.
How many marshmallows equal a 7 oz jar of marshmallow cream?
4 large marshmallows equal 1 ounce of marshmallow fluff. 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows also equals 1 ounce of marshmallow fluff. If you’d like to substitute for this recipe, you will need 28 large marshmallows or 3 and 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows.
How to I melt marshmallows?
Add marshmallows to a large microwave safe bowl along with about 3 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir well. If marshmallows are not completely melted, repeat this process until they are. I do not recommend heating marshmallow for longer than 30 seconds at a time. You don’t want to burn them.

- 1-14-ounce package of white chocolate chips
- 1-7-ounce container of marshmallow fluff
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups of Valentine’s Day M&M Candy
- Cooking spray
You will also need a microwave safe bowl, a silicone spatula
and a 8×8 baking pan
lined with parchment paper

INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Spray pan with cooking spray and cover bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper and set aside. Add chips, butter, and vanilla to a microwave safe bowl. Melt chips in microwave in 30 second bursts until completely melted and smooth. Do not cook for more than 30 seconds at a time or you will burn them.
Step 2: Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and marshmallow fluff.
Step 3: Spread mixture evenly into the pan. Add the M&M candy to the top of the fudge and gently press down.
