If you join together a book about pirates with a book about Christmas you have Happy Holidays, Pirates from Clever Publishing. During the month of November and December we read A LOT of Christmas books. It puts smiles on all our faces and gets us in the holiday spirit. I have always had a love for pirates so this book is one I enjoy reading to my toddler over and over again.
This is an absolute stunner of a book featuring a crew of unexpectedly endearing pirate characters sure to entertain children and parents alike! Bountiful surprises, a rollicking and joyous story, and a pirate’s trove of hidden treasures under each flap make for a truly memorable holiday experience.
A popular pirate theme coupled with the interactive lift-the-flap format makes the book a special treasure for young readers who love to play as they read. Much more than a simple picture book, it’s also a fun game that helps the child develop hand-eye coordination, curiosity and emotional intellect.
The large size, padded cover, delightfully detailed illustrations and witty poems make this book an ideal holiday present.
Sturdy thick board pages with rounded corners will make this treasure last forever.

The book is cute and it is about pirates wanting to do better so they can get a visit from Santa. The illustrations are a delight to look at and the lift-flaps are just a bonus for added fun. This is our first pirate Christmas book and it is already a family favorite so I anticipate reading this one for years to come!
