As the school year comes to a close teachers will be re-evaluating how their school year has gone and 2019 marked the beginning of a new era for hand2mind. The Learn to Read with BOB BOOKS® kits come with 10-12 books per set introduce kids to the fun of reading at three levels: Beginning Readers, Advancing Beginners, and Sight Words. My son is finishing up kindergarten and is still having a difficult time reading beginning words or as most schools refer to them as sight words. This set allows children to practice the skills they are learning by doing activities in their hands-on VersaTiles workbook. VersaTiles uses simple pattern puzzles to help children comprehend what they are learning and build confidence in their reading abilities. I plan to use the kits to prepare my son for first grade.
The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Play series introduces kids in grades 3–12 to the wonders of STEM skills through a wide variety Smart-Fun activities. Magnets! Super Experiment Set launches the world of magnetic science and teaches your child to discover the forces around them. This set includes nine experiments to encourage your child to choose careers using magnets such as: Archaeologist, Electrical Engineer, Medical Technician, Paleoclimatologist, or Particle Physicist. In their Career & Lab Guide children will be able to learning interesting facts about magnets and step-by-step instructions for lab experiments. This is a great way to keep your children learning over the summer so that they don’t get behind when school begins in August.
