Dogs make amazing pets and can fill your heart with so much love. They do need care and attention though, so today I am sharing some fun things to do with your dog at home to help keep them stimulated.
What are some fun things to do with your dog at home?
Play with them
It may seem obvious, but playing with your dog can be so rewarding for the both of you. Dogs love to play, and they get so excited when you bring a new toy home. ChuckIt! toys are some of our dogs’ favorites!

A game of backyard fetch
Speaking of their new toys. Playing fetch in the backyard is Max’s absolute favorite thing to do in the entire world, and ChuckIt! has the best toys for backyard fetch. Max enjoys playing fetch for as long as we will allow it, and usually never wants to rest when we’ve had enough. He will keep picking the ball or toy up and dropping it on your lap, or at your feet. However, it is important to allow your dog time to rest, even when they don’t want to. Remember, we humans know better. Rest and a big bowl of water are essential after playing fetch!

Teach them tricks
Teaching your dog to do tricks can be such fun. Max acts super proud when he knows he’s done the trick correctly, and he especially enjoys the treat afterward!
Photo shoot
Another on my list of fun things to do with your dog at home is a photo shoot. Take 5-10 minutes and just keep snapping shots of them playing, cuddling, or simply being their adorable self. You’ll surely catch some good ones!
Cuddle time
Dogs are generally affectionate animals and cuddle time can be some of the best time spent with them!

How can I stop my dog being bored?
Making sure that your dog gets plenty of exercise is a great way to ensure that he won’t get bored. Doggy day care can also be a great source of socialization and mental stimulation for your pup. New toys are one of the top solutions for boredom too. My pups and I recommend these ChuckIt! toys.
What can you do with your dog on a rainy day?
