I LOVE all types of games…..board games, card games, video games, outdoor games but I think my love for games all started with playing card games as a child. I would play for hours with my family and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling just thinking about all those games we played! Now that another holiday season is quickly approaching I want to share with you a new card game called Sparkle*Kitty that you can play with your family over the holiday season!
Sparkle*Kitty?is a fun, social and magical spell card game for 3 to 8 players, ages 6 and up, and takes about 15?30 minutes to play.
Once upon a time, a group of powerful princesses were captured and locked away in Cursed “No Cursing” towers by the evil queen Sparkle*Kitty! All their words and magic spells vanished and became sugar & spice… almost everything nice. ?Luckily these are no ordinary princesses and you are no ordinary player! Take matters into your own hands and harness the simple and sweet words into special spell combinations to set yourself free! The first to escape, wins!
The whole point of the game is to use magic spells to break yourself out of the tower. No male hero needed here! You cast spells using the cards in your hand by placing them into the spell book. Spell cards have to match either the symbol or color of the previous card in the spell book. You slowly chip away at your tower and the first one to ditch the tower completely first wins.
It is actually a little more complicated than that and that is what makes the game so fun! You can use dark magic cards, Double Plays and Sparkle and Kitty Cards to knock down your tower as well. Then there are super special cards with abilities on them. It might seem a little confusing the first few times you play it but you will get into your grove and this will quickly become a favorite game!
This is one of those games that is important to read all the directions and to keep them nearby for reference the first few times you play. I recommend finding a YouTube video explaining the rules as that really helps all the players to understand the game play visually.
This game is a blast to play and what makes it especially great is that 8 people can play at once! That means this is an awesome game for parties like sleepovers, Girl Scout groups and so much more!
Sparkle*Kitty is available at Walmart and?Walmart.com?for just $20! It easily fits in a bag or tote so you can take it with you on holiday travels to keep kids busy at airports and hotels. With Sparkle*Kitty nobody puts princess in a tower!
