I am a child of the 80s so of course I watched the original Muppet Babies “back in the day.” I was pleasantly surprised to see Disney Junior bring the Muppet Babies back and in an exciting new way for a whole new generation of kids to grow up with these famous muppets. Miss Nanny is also back as she “supervises” their imaginative play in the nursery. The new muppet is named Summer Penguin, and she is cute but I have a hard time accepting her into my heart since she is not an original but I think I just need a little more time. Lil Sis is 6 and instantly fell for that adorable penguin so I am probably on the minority side of this one. Baby Sis is only 13 months old and I did let her watch a few minutes of the show and she enjoyed it. For all those toddlers and preschoolers out there this is the hottest new show on Disney Junior.
