Lil Sis just started kindergarten last week and it has been an exciting transition for the whole family. During dinner she loves telling us about her day and we all love hearing about it…even Big Sis. With this new routine has come a whole new world of exciting things like class centers, eating lunch in a “real” cafeteria and doing “real” work in class. I have also enjoyed reading her books at night that have a school theme and here are 6 Picture Books for Kindergarten that we have been reading the last 2 weeks.

Each of these books have been a hit with Lil Sis and we have read each one several times now. The new school year is a fresh start for all kids and I really enjoy reading books about school and learning to get them into the mood. For all those kids out there celebrating their first day of Kindergarten I hope you have a fabulous first year in school!
