Here are 3 new picture books from HarperCollins Children’s Books that are sure to get those ages 4 to 8 enjoying new bed time stories.

Duck, Duck, Dinosaur and the Noise at Night written by Kallie George and illustrated by Oriol Vidal is an especially funny book where little ones will find comfort in the face that even a dinosaur can get scared at night! Feather, Flap, and Spike are spending their first night in their very own nest. They tell stories and snuggle up to get a good night’s sleep, until?. . .?GRRORE! What’s that scary-sounding noise?
Samson: The Piranha Who Went to Dinner written by Tadgh Bentley and illustrated by Tadgh Bentley is a charming and funny story of friendship, fine dining, and being true to yourself. So when not one but THREE new restaurants come to his corner of the sea, Samson can?t wait to try them all. There’s only one problem: With their big teeth and scary smiles, piranhas aren?t really welcome anywhere, let alone in fancy restaurants. Can Samson make his dream come true?and still be himself?
Dill & Bizzy: Opposite Day written by Nora Ericson and illustrated by Lisa Ericson is a playful picture book combines an original introduction to the concept of opposites with an eccentric but heartwarming friendship story. Bizzy the strange bird has decided: Today is Opposite Day! Time to eat dinner for breakfast, have a loud dance party instead of a quiet rest, and say good morning at bedtime. But Bizzy’s best friend, Dill the odd duck, would prefer to have a normal day, with no opposites. So Dill says, ?No, no, stop!? to Opposite Day, while Bizzy says, ?Yes, yes, go!? Will Opposite Day turn best friends into worst enemies?
These books are each cute, funny and enjoyable in their own ways! Their stories are unique and accompanied by colorful and entertaining illustrations. Both my 5 and 8 year old enjoy me reading them at bedtime.
