When a women is pregnant there is nothing quite as exciting as seeing your baby at an ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat. Being able to hear a recording of that heartbeat anytime you want is a gift that truly touches the heart. If you are looking for the perfect keepsake/gift for a pregnant mom then My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear is where it is at.
Their unique kits consists of a cuddly stuffed animal and a 20-second red heart battery recorder that is used to capture the sound of the baby’s heartbeat during their next ultrasound. Created by a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and mom of twins, My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear makes a perfect shower gift!
There are over 16 different Heartbeat plush animals to choose from. Some feature the picture frame where you can even put in a print out from an ultrasound visit. Just take the recorder to your doctor’s appointment or local ultrasound studio and simply press to record 20 seconds of your baby’s heartbeat. You could also record the heartbeat with your phone and then put it on the recorder when you get home.
Then you insert the recorder into the opening on in the back of the stuffed animal. Then pull and knot the interior drawstrings then fasten the Velcro closure securely. Then all you do is press the stuffed animal (near where you placed the heart) and you can hear the recording which will stop after 20 seconds.
The brand has also just launched a new app where you can simply?upload your baby’s heartbeat for safekeeping, forever.? This allows for peace of mind if you accidentally erase the recording from the sound module, or it allows you to temporarily switch the recording to a sibling singing a lullaby, a parent-to-child good night sign off or your child’s first words. ?You can change the recording, as desired, without worry that you’ll lose the original.
These are one of those gifts that moms-to-be will absolutely LOVE. It is personal to their baby and a gift they will want to treasure forever.
