Kahiniwalla is a business which distributes Fair Trade products and tells the story behind those products.? This business was created to provide a place close to rural homes in Dhaka where women could work flexible hours and employ over 12,000 women.? These workplaces provide a safe?environment close to home so that these women can go home to their families at night.? Kahiniwalla was established in 2010 by Austin and Marita Miller.? After designing in Bangladesh, Austin wanted to continue?to provide employment forBangladeshwomen and decided to do so by distributing Pebbles high quality handmade products in North America.
I love finding new companies to support?that want to help those less fortunate.? These precious?products will make you feel good knowing that you contributed to making a better life for the women in rural Bangladesh.? I love their hand-knitted Silly Monster Hat!?It was inspired bytheirchubby monster rattles, this crazy hat, with its ‘silly monster? motif,?? was?perfect for my daughter she is quite silly herself.? My son loved it as well.? My son is three and my daughter is six both of them were able to wear the hand-knitted hat?made for ages 3-5.
Soon you will be decorating for Christmas and Kahiniwalla has the most beautiful hand-knitted ornaments for your Christmas tree.? Three of their beautiful Christmas ornaments are the Angel Ornament, Gingerbread Ornament and Santa Ornament.? All of their ornaments are under $10 and are hand-knitted.? I love all of their ornaments and it would be hard deciding on just one.
I’m not sure if you have any family traditions, but maybe you would like to try?by giving?an ornament each year to your child.? When they are grown and are ready to move out they will have a collection of ornaments to begin their own Christmas traditions.?
