Who couldn’t use a little more sunshine in their life? I know I certainly could and that’s why I’m sharing this sunshine fabric wreath tutorial with you today! It’s the same concept of the DIY Fabric Wreath that I shared last month and is just such a cute, festive way to brighten up your door! Check out that tutorial for step by step photos and keep on reading below to find out how you can make this sunshine fabric wreath?for under $6 while sitting on your couch watching your favorite movie or series!
Sunshine?Fabric Wreath
You?ll need the following supplies and tools:
- 12? wire wreath form
- 4 pieces of fat quarters fabric, approximately 18×21, in coordinating colors/patterns
- silk Daffodil flowers
- fabric cutter (I just use a basic rotary cutter)
- hot glue gun
Step 1. Start by unfolding?each fat quarter and laying it flat.
Step 2. Cut each fat quarter into pieces approximately 1? x 5.5?.
Step 3.?Once all of your pieces are cut, start tying them around the wreath form, alternating the different fabric and patterns.
Step 4.?Repeat this until the entire wreath form is covered in fabric. I?ve had practice on a few wreaths and have found it easiest to do sections, rather than rows. See the images above and below for an example.
Step 5.?Once your entire wreath form is full of fabric scraps, you?ll want to fluff it out real nicely, to make the wreath full.
Step 6. Pull the’silk flowers are the base of the flower, discarding the stems.
Step 7.??Arrange the flowers as you desire on the wreath. Hot glue to secure.
This Sunflower Fabric Wreath would make such a cute gift idea and would even perfectly adorn and yellow and grey nursery!.
