What a great way to spend a rainy day with your children watching educational DVD’s from SkipRope and PBS!? In the area we live we don’t get a lot of rain, but when it does we are usually trapped in the house for days.? As a child I loved Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood, and now my children are able to share this childhood memory with me by watching Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.
Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel Goes to the Doctor
What’s a young tiger to do–“ah-choo!” –when he isn’t feeling so well?? Even though Daniel wants to go to school, his family knows that rest is best when you’re not feeling well.? In fact, even moms get sick from time to time.? It’s good to know that Daniel’s family will always be there to take care of each other and to help out.? Daniel also discovers that taking care of your health is important before you get sick.? Regular visits to see Doctor Anna are important, even when Daniel is feeling his best!
Wild Kratts: Wild Animal Babies
What’s better than meeting amazing animals with the Wild Kratts?? Meeting amazing BABY animals with the Wild Kratts, of course!? Join Martin Kratt and Chris Kratt as they learn about the unique ways young animals are raised and protected by their parents.? In select adventures on this DVD, the crew helps a very cute (and majorly destructive) baby elephant stay out of trouble, wrangles some playful lion cubs, and cares for their new pal, “Nubs,” a baby rhino.? It’s high adventure at its most adorable!
Kate?& Mim-Mim: Balloon Buddies
In the story Balloon Buddies, Kate needs a super big balloon to make a the perfect balloon animal for Mim-Mim, so it’s off to Mimiloo!? But when they get to the balloon tree in Mimiloo, all of its balloon leaves are flat and droopy.? Can kate, Mim-Mim, and their friends figure out a way to fix the balloon, make Mim-Mim’s balloon animal, and throw a fantastic balloon parade?
These?DVD’s from SkipRope and PBS are age?appropriate and educational.? What better way to spend some quality time with your children than by purchasing these great DVD’s to watch them together.
